He had Windex in one hand and paper towels in the other and was thoroughly cleaning the windows. I had to ask him if he was the realtor as I am not used to seeing realtors do windows. The living room and dining room had also been staged right down to immaculate table settings in an otherwise vacant house. Steve told me he had done this using some his own furniture as he thought a staged home sold better than a vacant one. I of course saved his card. I also refused a lockbox and insisted one of us be there for all showings to keep my dogs safe. Other realtors had suggested my dogs and motorhome could go somewhere, but Steve assured me they were not a problem. My home was sold to a very nervous first time buyer with an inexperienced realtor who seemed quite interested in time off and going to Vegas. Steve did both their jobs expertly. My beautiful but 50 year old home, underwent hours of repeated inspections and complaints. When I could not tolerate this and would sneak out to the dog park or for a destressing message, Steve would stay. My home did close on time which amazed me but sot Steve. I have been known to worry about things and the buyer worries more than I ever could. Steve was positive enough for all three of us and held sale together I m sure would not have closed without him. I had to pack 12 years of accumulation last minute since I did not believe the house was really sold. When Steve saw how stressed I was, he took a morning out of his very busy life to help me. We did the worst job- the garage. He thne came to my moving sale carrying a rhubarb pie. Anyway, if you want a realtor who is consistently thorough and will only see the positive in every situation, I recommend Steve Major.
